What the numbered parts guarantee
Published periods lock
Once a payout is published, the period locks. Recalculations, plan edits, and data imports can't silently change a month that's already been paid; corrections happen as visible adjustments in a later period, with the original left intact.
Gross, adjustments, final
Gross earnings come from the calculation below. Adjustments are manual changes, each one entered through an approval flow and listed with who made it and why. The final payout is just the sum. When there's a gap between what was earned and what was paid, the statement shows exactly where it came from.
The math, not a summary of it
The statement names the plan and the plan version it was computed with, then walks the actual calculation: revenue, attainment against quota, which tiers applied and marginally over which dollars, the rate, and each component of the total. A rep who wants to check the number can, line by line, without asking anyone. This is what we mean on the philosophy page by plans a rep can hold in their head.
Disputes start on the statement
A rep who thinks the number is wrong files a dispute from the statement itself. It attaches to this payout, goes to an admin queue, and the resolution is recorded against the period, instead of scattering across chat threads that are hard to reconstruct later.
